For hiring managers and recruiters

For hiring managers and recruiters

Start the interview with work you can discuss.

A candidate can share a DiamOps record from simulated IT work. You can see what they checked, concluded, communicated and verified—along with the scenario boundary and any disclosed guidance.

Inside the record

Look past the outcome and inspect the chain of reasoning.

Use it correctly

A DiamOps record is an interview input, not a hiring verdict.

It can support Specific questions about evidence, alternatives, communication, escalation and what the candidate would do with broader access.
It does not prove Identity, employment, production access, completely independent completion or performance in your organisation.
Keep using Your own interview, references, identity checks, role-specific assessment and reasonable adjustments.
A four-question review

Use the record to test depth, not to reward a polished page.

  1. What did the evidence actually show?Ask the candidate to separate observations from assumptions.
  2. What did they rule out?Look for a reasoned alternative, not just the final diagnosis.
  3. Where did their authority end?Ask why they resolved, deferred or escalated and what the next owner needed.
  4. What would change in your environment?Test whether they understand that policy, tools and access differ between organisations.
Current candidate journey

The recommended entry record comes from a connected Service Desk First Week.

DiamOps also describes specialist operational pathways and scenario coverage, but availability varies by path and account. Review the role and availability shown on the shared record rather than assuming every candidate completed the same work.

Common questions

Before you rely on a record

Do I need an account?
No account is needed to review the public annotated example. Candidate sharing depends on the controls and access shown on that candidate's record.
Is the score an AI hiring decision?
No. A DiamOps assessment describes observable behaviour inside the simulation. It should not make or replace a hiring decision.
Can DiamOps guarantee independent completion?
No. Attempt and guidance information can add context, but employers must verify identity and capability through their own process.
Can I compare two candidates directly?
Only with care. Check scenario version, role, guidance, attempt history and evidence conditions before treating records as comparable.

Review the example before asking a candidate for one.

The annotated sample shows the evidence trail and every important limitation.
